    Ms. Raja Venkateswari S is a Consultant Psycho-Oncologist in the Department of Medical Oncology at Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi. She specializes in providing comprehensive psychological care to individuals with cancer and their families across the cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, and palliative care.

    She holds an M.Phil. in Psycho-Oncology and has expertise in the assessment and management of emotional distress, anxiety, depression, fear of cancer recurrence, cognitive concerns, adjustment difficulties, caregiver support, and end-of-life psychosocial care.

    In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as the Program Director of the Psycho-Oncology Fellowship, actively contributing to teaching, research, and the advancement of psycho-oncology services. Her research interests include geriatric oncology, distress screening, quality of life, and psychosocial interventions in cancer care. She has presented her work at national and international conferences and remains committed to integrating psychological well-being into comprehensive cancer treatment.
