    Dr. Varun Rajan is a passionate and dedicated Medical Oncologist with over 12 years of experience in delivering personalized, evidence-based cancer care. He specializes in innovative treatment approaches across both solid tumours and hematologic malignancies, with a commitment to improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge therapies and compassionate care.

    He is extensively trained in both autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation, with hands-on expertise in managing complex cases. He completed postdoctoral training in gastrointestinal oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA (2019), and pursued advanced training in CAR-T Cell Therapy (cell and gene therapy) at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (2024).

    Dr. Rajan was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP) in 2024, in recognition of his clinical excellence and contributions to the field of oncology. A pioneer in patient-centred cancer care, he spearheaded the establishment of a dedicated Geriatric Oncology division — the first of its kind in Kerala — aimed at providing holistic, multidisciplinary care tailored to the unique needs of elderly cancer patients. His areas of special interest include Breast Oncology, Hemato-Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT), CAR-T Cell Therapy, Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology, Immunotherapy, Geriatric Oncology, and Targeted Therapy.
