World Hearing Day Awareness Session At St. Albert’s College

In observance of World Hearing Day (March 03), the Department of ENT, Head & Neck Surgery organized a special awareness session for the students of St. Albert’s College. The session was led by Consultant Surgeons Dr. Mathew Dominic and Dr. Preethi Mary.
The doctors provided simple and practical insights on protecting hearing health and highlighted the latest treatment options available for hearing-related conditions. The program also featured an inspiring experience shared by Ms. Sangeetha, who spoke about her son’s journey in overcoming hearing challenges, offering valuable perspective to the students. An interactive session by Audiologist Ms. Neha guided students on how to assess their own hearing ability. The seminar also emphasized the harmful effects of excessive use of mobile phones and headsets.
The session concluded with an engaging discussion on how the younger generation can actively safeguard their hearing health for a healthier future.
