    Dr. Sumayya Abdul Kalam is a distinguished Endocrinologist with a robust academic background and extensive clinical experience. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore. Further honing her expertise, she pursued a DNB in Internal Medicine from the National Board of Examinations,New Delhi and a DM in Endocrinology from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. Her contributions to endocrinology are highlighted by her numerous research presentations at national conferences, focusing on thyroid disorders, gestational diabetes and rare endocrine syndromes. In her professional career, Dr. Sumayya has served as Physician and Research Officer at the Indian Institute of Diabetes, Thiruvananthapuram, and as Senior Specialist, Endocrinology at Aster MIMS Hospital, Kottakkal. Her clinical interests include management of diabetes with emphasis on young onset diabetes and diabetes in pregnancy, thyroid disorders, and pediatric endocrinology.
