Medical Trust Hospital Conducts Trauma First Responder Programme In Association With Istac
The Inaugural Trauma First Responder Programme was successfully conducted at Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi on April 25, 2026, in association with ISTAC. This programme was designed for the general public and palliative care volunteers to understand how to respond during emergencies.
The session covered important topics like basic life support (BLS), injury prevention, patient safety, airway management, bleeding control, and patient transportation. Participants also attended hands-on skill stations and practical training to handle real-life emergency situations with confidence.
With expert doctors and trainers, the programme focused on improving quick response, clinical skills, and teamwork in emergency medicine.
