The 21st annual conference of the Neurotrauma society of India was held on August 17th till 19th at the Avenue centre hotel, Panampilly Nagar, Kochi under the auspices of of Medical Trust hospital Kochi. Around 250 delegates from all over India and abroad attended the conference.The 3 day long scientific deliberation dealt with all possible aspects of Neuro Trauma. The conference consisted of
A. Paper presentations which discusses the various experiences of the presenters and in their place of work
B. Symposiums where a controversial topic is debated by various experts in the concerned field
C. Orations where a talk is given on a particular subject by a Senior renowned Neurosurgeon
D. Video sessions showing the various surgical aspects of management
E. Lectures by foreign delegates sharing their experience in Neurotrauma
F. Discussion of research work, newer trends of management etc
G. Distribution of award and scholarships to the best papers and research works delivered
This was the second time that the national conference of the neurotrauma society of India was being conducted in Kerala. The previous conference in Kerala was conducted in the year 1995 with the auspice of Medical trust hospital, Kochi.
